Accountant

Your challenges

As an Accountant, you will be a key player in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations within our Finance & Administration department, reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Administration. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervision of day-to-day transactions, including accounts payable/customer management, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Regular maintenance of the general ledger.
• Managing the monthly closing in collaboration with the managementteam.
• Preparation and review of monthly financial reports and summaries.
• Preparation of quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and annual audit.
• Analysis of financial variances for resolution.
• Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns.

Your profile

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in small and medium-sized companies.
• Degree in accounting or finance.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Strong ability to communicate, work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of BOB50 is a plus.
• Understanding of the basic principles of consolidation.
• Fluency in French; Dutch and English appreciated.
