Join Contraste as Domain Expert / Team Lead ADMS & OT on a freelance contract in Brussels - 2 days working from home.

Key missions: Team leadership, ADMS & OT expertise, backlog refinement, quality assurance.

Location: Brussels, 2 days teleworking per week

Your challenges

As a Domain Expert / Team Lead ADMS & OT, you will play a critical role in the Factory Networks, dedicated to managing and monitoring electricity, gas, and telecom networks. You will work alongside the Factory Lead Networks, contributing to the overall vision and strategy while driving operational and strategic activities within the ADMS & OT scope.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Team management and coordination
    • Lead, plan, and coordinate your team’s activities.
    • Ensure adherence to methodological standards, norms, and best practices.
  • Technical and functional expertise
    • Gather requirements and translate them into relevant user stories.
    • Refine the backlog to reflect evolving needs.
    • Ensure new solutions align with the strategy defined by the Factory Lead.
    • Actively participate in technology scouting with the IT Architect (product roadmaps, trends).
  • Requirements analysis and documentation
    • Draft business specifications in collaboration with Process Owners (POs) and Proxy Process Owners (PPOs).
    • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications (SFDs).
    • Maintain rigorous traceability in needs analysis and documentation.
  • Delivery quality assurance
    • Supervise the execution of integration, functional, and technical tests with your team.
    • Coordinate the analysis and resolution of issues detected during testing phases.
    • Ensure the quality of deliverables and respect deadlines.
  • Operational management
    • Track key initiatives (projects, maintenance requests).
    • Manage incidents, problems, and standard requests, in coordination with the operations team.
    • Oversee release content and ensure its documentation and calendar integration.

  • ITIL knowledge (IT service management).
  • Relational databases (Oracle, SQL).
  • Energy network management tools (ADMS, SCADA).
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
  • GIS tools (Geographic Information System).

Your profile

We are looking for an expert with the following skills and experience:

Technical skills

  • Proven experience in implementing and managing energy network tools (ADMS, SCADA).
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).
  • Expertise in IT project management and IT vendor contract management.
  • Familiarity with the utilities sector (electricity, gas, telecom) is an asset.

Soft skills

  • Structured, methodical, and autonomous.
  • Clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Resilient under pressure, creative, and proactive.
  • Skilled in negotiation and conflict management.
