Electricity & Gas Billing Manager

Your Responsibilities

• Carry out the necessary actions for energy billing.
• Assist the billing manager and coordinate various billing activities based on priorities and availability.
• Be the reference person for your team in terms of expertise.
• Master the billing processes applied by the team.
• Contribute to the preparation of certain official declarations to federal and regional beneficiary organizations.
• Assist teams when needed and, if necessary, handle problematic cases.
• Report more complex issues encountered to the hierarchy.
• Maintain regular contact with the billing tool provider and the Transformation and Digitalization (IT) department.
• Participate in a large-scale project concerning the change of the billing tool.
• Assist your hierarchy in implementing tool developments to comply with regulatory changes.
• Test and validate the expected results of the changes made.
• Participate in the functional maintenance of the tool and validate the solutions to be implemented.
• Ensure the implementation and updating of work procedures within your team.

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy sector in Belgium (DSO or supplier).
• Experience with an energy billing tool is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while fostering team spirit.
