Our team is involved in a variety of infrastructure deployment, migration, optimization and consolidation projects for a large public sector company.
We manage and maintain virtual (Linux, Microsoft) and physical servers, covering a wide range of activities: incident management, backups, migrations and maintenance. To increase operational efficiency, we also automate routine tasks via scripting. We intervene rapidly to resolve incidents related to the existing production infrastructure, while transferring the necessary skills to reinforce in-house capabilities. Our responsibility also extends to managing and monitoring the various equipment in the DataCenter, as well as monitoring internal and external applications to ensure they are running smoothly.
Contraste's mission for a customer in the energy sector is to secure the IT network by aligning the level of security with industry standards and internal policies. This initiative involves technical project management as well as the design of an adapted network/security architecture.
The complexity of this project is notably linked to the large number of users and customers (2,000 internal and external users), as well as deployment on a vast network comprising 37 premises, 1,000 virtual machines, 10,000 network ports and 300 active network components.
